In this class, you'll learn a variety of expansive techniques designed to enhance your drawing practice and inspire fresh approaches. Whether you're seeking direction or embarking on a new creative journey, this class offers an encouraging environment to explore and grow. Drawing materials are provided, though students are welcome to bring their own sketchbooks and drawing tools if they wish.
Ari, our talented instructor, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA in Painting from UCLA. Ari was the first student in ten years at SAIC to be nominated and accepted into the prestigious Norfolk Summer School of Art Residency at Yale University for the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Fellowship. Ari believes creativity exists within everyone and fosters artistic growth through mentorship as a powerful way to develop a creative practice.
Students can choose to enroll in either the Tuesday class at 6:30 PM or the Thursday class at 6:30 PM, meeting once weekly. The cost is $55 per class, and to support the sustainability of our programs, all classes require a two-month minimum commitment.
All classes are held at the Los Feliz Music & Art Conservatory, conveniently located in the heart of Los Feliz, Los Angeles, CA.
