If you have singing experience and are looking for a unique and enriching way to expand your vocal skills, our choir class is the perfect opportunity. Singing in a choir allows us to merge our voices, creating a powerful and unified sound that resonates as one. Whether you're eager to build your vocal repertoire, refine your techniques, or simply experience the joy of collective singing, this class offers it all.
Our choir sessions will focus on building a diverse repertoire of songs while exploring vocal techniques that enhance creative expression. Under the guidance of our skilled instructor, we will dive into the essentials of focus and resonance—both within the body and the surrounding space—to unlock our full vocal potential. More than anything, this class is about coming together to share the gift of music and connection.
Alice, our dedicated instructor, is a music, movement, and teaching artist based in Northeast Los Angeles. With a background in composition and vocal performance, her work is known for its introspective, dynamic, and ethereal qualities. Alice brings a wealth of experience to the classroom, teaching Somatic Voice, Choral Singing, and Wilderness Awareness. She integrates sensory and somatic practices into her teaching, creating a holistic and deeply engaging learning experience. Alice holds a B.A. in Music and Movement from Bennington College and is passionate about guiding students on their musical journey.
Students can choose to enroll in either the Wednesday class at 7:00 PM or the Sunday class at 5:00 PM and will meet once weekly for 1 hour class. The cost is $45 per class and enrollment is billed monthly. To support the sustainability of our programs, for all classes we ask for a two-month minimum commitment.
All classes are held at the Los Feliz Music & Art Conservatory, conveniently located in the heart of the Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angeles, CA.
