In this hands-on course, students will learn to recognize animation principles in their favorite animated works and apply these techniques in their own projects. The class covers both classic hand-drawn animation and computer-based animation, guiding students through the creation of text and title sequences. By the end of the course, students will have completed a variety of projects that showcase their growing skills and creativity.

Johnny is an experienced animation instructor specializing in 2D, 3D, and motion graphics. With a background in visual effects and training from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, he blends core animation principles with project-based learning. Johnny is passionate about helping students develop their technical skills and create their own unique animated projects.
