CLASS DESCRIPTION

Starting with the breath and then moving to sound and space, we will explore our voices with different practices that have been around for hundreds of years. Through toning, melody channeling, and chanting, we will cover healthy vocal technique for an embodied and meditative practice that explores feeling before hearing. This class is perfect for beginner to advanced singers and offers a wide array of perspectives on vocal technique and freedom.

Instructor

Simha is a vocalist, songwriter, and producer with a deep foundation in jazz and Indian Classical music. A Berklee College of Music graduate, he specializes in jazz theory, blending eastern and western influences to enhance musical storytelling. His teaching emphasizes practical application, performance analysis, and creative exploration, helping students deepen their understanding of harmony, improvisation, and composition.
