Voice lessons are curated to the goals and life experience of each student and center on helping students feel safe in learning as they are also encouraged to expand their edges. In addition to learning techniques for singing, our vocal lessons may include breathwork, songwriting, and somatic elements.

Claire
Claire teaches across multiple disciplines such as cello, guitar, and voice. For students in cello, Claire starts with fundamental techniques such as posture, bow positioning, and tone, progressing to sight reading, ear training, and adapting the cello to other genres as part of her curriculum. Claire offers guitar instruction across various skill levels, drawing from her expertise as a classical guitarist while embracing versatility in rock, pop, and jazz genres. Claire also specializes in vocal instruction, as well as songwriting.

Simha
Simha teaches voice (jazz & soul), songwriting, music theory, and Ableton Live production, adapting lessons to students' musical interests and backgrounds. With roots in Indian Classical music and a Berklee College of Music songwriting degree, he blends eastern and western influences to enhance musical storytelling. Simha emphasizes understanding each student's level and preferences, integrating practical exercises and performance analysis. He prioritizes vocal health and effective practice routines, drawing inspiration from concerts, nature, meditation, and community interactions to continually evolve his own music and teaching approach.

Allegra
Allegra provides in-depth voice lessons for all skill levels, emphasizing proper technique, breath control, and vocal expression. With a background in classical piano, voice, and composition, she studied music performance at Bard College and now works as a professional session musician and solo artist. Allegra's teaching style is personalized, focusing on individual student needs and fostering a judgment-free, creative environment that encourages open communication and artistic exploration.
