We offer music production lessons in Ableton Live, Logic, and Pro Tools. Our instructors guide students through learning to use their DAW (digital audio workstation) in a way that feels easeful and inspiring so they can feel confident recording and producing music.

Chitra

Chitra, a seasoned musical and recording artist, brings her expertise as a violinist, violist, pianist, and former Soundfactory Studios professional to her music production lessons. She teaches the basics of Logic Pro X while drawing on her extensive experience in recording instruments and home recording techniques. Chitra’s goal is to empower students to harness their creativity and develop their unique musical voice, equipping them with the skills to confidently produce and record their own music.

Judy

Judy offers lessons in music production, synthesis, and digital audio-visual art, with a focus on integrating technical skills with creative expression. Students will explore the fundamentals of sound design, beat-making, and arrangement, as well as how synthesizers work and how to shape their own unique sonic palette. With a background in experimental audiovisual art and pop music production, Judy’s teaching style is supportive and individualized, encouraging students to develop their own artistic voice. Inspired by the diversity of human experiences and cultural phenomena, she fosters a learning environment where students can blend technical rigor with artistic play to produce compelling and meaningful music.

Liza

Liza is a dedicated piano and composition instructor who provides tailored lessons to help students develop technical skills, musicality, and a deep understanding of classical repertoire. Drawing from her experience as a classically trained pianist and composer, she focuses on fostering each student's unique potential. Her teaching approach is inspired by her own distinguished teachers, as she strives to pass on her knowledge and passion for music to the next generation.
